These terms cover the use of aievals.co: the free reference material, the optional account, and the paid courses. They are written to be read in one sitting. Using the site means you accept them; if a term is not acceptable to you, do not buy a course or create an account.
Who runs the site
aievals.co is run by MAAVI LIFE PRIVATE LIMITED, Bangalore, Karnataka 560034, India ("we" in these terms). Courses are sold by that company. Its details are on the contact page, and questions about these terms go to that page.
Accounts
An account is optional and free. It is created with an email address and a one-time emailed code; there is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address, since it is the only way to sign in. One person per account: sharing sign-in codes, or letting several people use one account to take courses or exams, is not allowed. We may close an account that is used to abuse the site, and we will tell you why.
Content and license
The reference articles, glossary, recipes, and reading lists are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license stated in the footer. You may reuse them with attribution as described on the how to cite page.
Paid course material (module quizzes, interactive labs, final exams, and certificates) is licensed to you personally for your own learning. You may not copy, republish, resell, or share exam questions and answers, and you may not automate or scrape the course flow. Lessons that are also public articles stay under the CC BY 4.0 license.
Payments and pricing
Courses are sold for a one-time price listed on each course page in Indian rupees (INR). The price shown at checkout is the price charged. Payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway in a window it renders; card, UPI, and bank details are entered there and never reach this site. The gateway emails its own receipt.
You can buy without an account. The purchase is tied to the email you give at checkout, and the course unlocks for the account that signs in with that same email. Buy with the email you intend to sign in with.
Prices can change. A change never affects a course you already bought.
Refunds
Refunds are governed by the refund and cancellation policy: a full refund within seven days of purchase, as long as the certificate for that course has not been issued.
Certificates
A certificate of completion is issued when you pass every module quiz and the final exam at the stated pass mark. It carries your name as entered, the course, the date, your score, and a verification ID that anyone can check with us. It is a record of completing this course, not a professional accreditation or a guarantee of employment. We may revoke a certificate obtained by sharing accounts, using answer keys, or otherwise circumventing the exam, and we will tell you if we do.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload, or probe the site or its services, bypass the reading meter or course access checks, or harvest content or user data. Do not use the contact form to send spam. Ordinary use, including linking to any page, is welcome.
Availability and changes
The site is offered as is. We work to keep it available and correct but do not promise uninterrupted service or error-free content; corrections are welcome through the contributing page. We may change these terms; the date at the top of this page moves when we do, and continued use after a change means you accept the new version. Material changes to how courses are sold will be noted on this page.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the operator's total liability for anything arising from your use of the site or a course is limited to the amount you paid for that course. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be limited by agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts at the operator's registered place of business.
