They are digital and are delivered the moment the payment goes through: the course unlocks for the account that signs in with the email used at checkout. Nothing is shipped, so there is no shipping to cancel and no return to send back. This page says when a purchase can be refunded and exactly how to ask.
When a refund is available
You can get a full refund of a course purchase if both of these are true:
- The request reaches us within 7 days of the purchase.
- The certificate for that course has not been issued to the account. The certificate is issued when the final exam is passed; up to that point the purchase is refundable.
Once a certificate has been issued, the course has been fully delivered and the purchase is not refundable. Outside the seven-day window the purchase is also not refundable, with one exception: if a payment was charged and the course never unlocked for the matching email, we will either unlock it or refund it, whenever you write in.
How to request a refund
Write to us through the contact page and include:
- The email address you gave at checkout. This is how the purchase is found; without it we cannot match the payment.
- The course you bought.
- The date of the payment and, if you have it, the payment ID from the gateway's receipt email.
You do not need to give a reason, though one helps us improve the courses. We confirm receipt of the request by email and tell you whether it qualifies under the two conditions above.
How the refund is paid
Approved refunds are issued through the payment gateway back to the original payment method (the same card, UPI account, or bank account). They are initiated within 5 to 7 business days of approval. How quickly the money shows up after that depends on your bank or card issuer; most post within a further few business days, some card issuers take up to one statement cycle.
A refund removes access to the course exam and certificate path from the account that claimed it. Progress in the free, publicly readable lessons is unaffected.
Cancellation
A course purchase is a one-time payment with no subscription and no recurring charge, so there is nothing to cancel after the purchase. A purchase is tied to the account that claimed it. If you delete your account, the purchase records are anonymized and cannot be claimed again. Write to us before deleting your account if you want a purchase moved to another one.
Changes to this policy
The date at the top of this page moves when the policy changes. A purchase is covered by the version in force on the day it was made.
